Mak15:1   Very early in the morning, the chief priests, with the elders, the teachers of the law and the whole Sanhedrin, reached a decision. They bound Jesus, led him away and handed him over to Pilate.

一到早晨，祭司长和长老文士全公会的人大家商议，就把耶稣捆绑解去，交给彼拉多。

Mak15:2   'Are you the king of the Jews?' asked Pilate. 'Yes, it is as you say,' Jesus replied.

彼拉多问他说，你是犹太人的王吗？耶稣回答说，你说的是。

Mak15:3   The chief priests accused him of many things.

祭司长告他许多的事。

Mak15:4   So again Pilate asked him, 'Aren't you going to answer? See how many things they are accusing you of.'

彼拉多又问他说，你看，他们告你这么多的事，你什么都不回答吗？

Mak15:5   But Jesus still made no reply, and Pilate was amazed.

耶稣仍不回答，以致彼拉多觉得希奇。

Mak15:6   Now it was the custom at the Feast to release a prisoner whom the people requested.

每逢这节期，巡抚照众人所求的，释放一个囚犯给他们。

Mak15:7   A man called Barabbas was in prison with the insurrectionists who had committed murder in the uprising.

有一个人名叫巴拉巴，和作乱的人一同捆绑。他们作乱的时候，曾杀过人。

Mak15:8   The crowd came up and asked Pilate to do for them what he usually did.

众人上去求巡抚，照常例给他们办。

Mak15:9   'Do you want me to release to you the king of the Jews?' asked Pilate,

彼拉多说，你们要我释放犹太人的王给你们吗？

Mak15:10 knowing it was out of envy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to him.

他原晓得祭司长是因为嫉妒才把耶稣解了来。

Mak15:11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have Pilate release Barabbas instead.

只是祭司长挑唆众人，宁可释放巴拉巴给他们。

Mak15:12 'What shall I do, then, with the one you call the king of the Jews?' Pilate asked them.

彼拉多又说，那么样你们所称为犹太人的王，我怎么办他呢？

Mak15:13 'Crucify him!' they shouted.

他们又喊着说，把他钉十字架。

Mak15:14 'Why? What crime has he committed?' asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, 'Crucify him!'

彼拉多说，为什么呢？他作了什么恶事呢？他们便极力地喊着说，把他钉十字架。

Mak15:15 Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.

彼拉多要叫众人喜悦，就释放巴拉巴给他们，将耶稣鞭打了，交给人钉十字架。
