And then we have words like justification and sanctification.下面有两个字，称义和成圣。Justification is God gives us a new position before His law.称义就是我们在神面前、祂的法律面前有一个新的地位。That includes that our sins are forgiven.包括罪得赦免。Sanctification means God changes our hearts and our lifes.成圣就是神改变我们的心，改变我们的生命。How？怎么改变？Through the Holy Spirit，through his word of God，through prayer，through worship，through our obedience，透过圣灵，透过神的话，透过我们的悔改，透过我们的敬拜，透过我们过顺服的生活。So therefore these elements of sanctification，we need to sing them and read Bible verses about them，所以我们应该唱这些关于称义成圣的诗歌，应该读关于称义成圣的经文的。So we don’t just choose a song about Jesus just because it sounds nice，所以我们不是选那些优美的调讲耶稣，优美的调不够，it’s not enough that the music sounds beautiful，it’s got to say what the Bible says Jesus is and what He does.歌词要讲耶稣是谁，祂做什么。For example，譬如说，“How sweet the name of Jesus sounds”，耶稣名真为甜美，Now that hymn gives you many，many of the attributes and works of Jesus Christ.这首诗歌很完整地告诉我们耶稣是谁，祂的职分是什么。Prophet Priest and king，Shepherd，etc.祂是我们的好牧人、先知、祭司、君王。So God，Christ，salvation，the Bible，上帝、基督、救恩、圣经。All of these need to be considered consciously when we plan a worship service，所以当我们计划一堂崇拜的时候，要常常想到这些的，God，His word，Jesus Christ，salvation.神、神的话、耶稣基督跟救恩。
We proclaim the gospel every Sunday.每个星期我们都宣讲福音。Not in a shallow way，不是肤浅的福音，we don’t just read out loud John 3：16 or John 10：10 every Sunday，不是说我们每个星期都读约翰三章十六节，约翰十章十节，就算传福音了。That’s not enough to preach the gospel. We present God，我们高举神，His holiness，His law.祂的圣洁，祂的律法，our sin，我们凸出我们的罪，We repent.我们认罪。We lift up Jesus Christ，who He is，what he has done for us.我们高举耶稣基督，祂是谁，祂为我们做什么。We ask the Holy Spirit for help.我们求圣灵帮助我们。We thank God for justification，我们感谢主称我们为义，we thank God for the cross and for the resurrection.为的是耶稣基督十字架、复活我们都感恩。So not everything is about Jesus and the cross，所以不仅仅是耶稣并祂的十字架，there is the resurrection，there is propitiation，there is regeneration.我们要敬拜神，为了祂的复活——耶稣的复活、神的恩召、称义、成圣等等。
Now let’s look at tonight notes，今天晚上的笔记，Now we’re going to see how we use these doctrines.现在我们来看，怎么用这些的教义的。Please turn to page 2，table of contents，请翻到第二页目录，the first eleven pages，前面有十一页，很长的大纲。Let’s start from the very beginning.一切从头说起。This is a summary of the doctrine of the covenant of grace.这个是恩典之约这个教义的这个很简单的一个简介。We won’t jump into that now，because we talked a lot about doctrine already.刚才我们已经花了好几分钟讲教义了，我们不马上去讲。Then on page 14 is an order of worship for May 21，2023，然后第十四页是，2023年5月14号，对不起，5月21号的主日崇拜程序，with a guide to worship，in other words，with an explanatory notes.加上内容说明或者说敬拜指引。
Page 14 to 22，14页到22页，and then on page 23 to 36 for another 14 pages，从二十三到，I’m sorry，23 to 32，10 pages，从二十三到三十二页，另外又有十页。It is the order of worship which we have experienced already recently on May 7th.这个是我们上一个主日5月7号的崇拜程序。Let’s turn to page 14，我们来看第十四页，May 21，5月21号的崇拜。How do I design the order worship？我是怎么样设计一堂主日崇拜的程序的呢？Well，I select a theme for the entire worship service，我会为一堂崇拜选一个主题，normally that theme of the worship comes from the theme of the sermon.一般来说我尽量从讲道的主题那里提炼出崇拜的主题。That’s not always possible.这个不是每一次做得到的。Sometimes you don’t know what the sermon theme is.有的时候你不知道讲道的题目是什么的。In that case，you just design a worship service according to a theme，for example，an attribute of God，那你就按照一个主题来设计，譬如神的属性，or for example，God’s holiness，譬如说神的圣洁，or Jesus Christ is Lord，或者耶稣基督是主。
Something like that. OK，Now for May 21 I know I’ve been given the Bible passage for the sermon.那五月二十一号的崇拜我知道讲道的经文是什么。I typed it all out on page 17，it’s Philippians 1：12 to 18，我把它都列出来了，在17页，腓立比书第一章十二到十八节。Here we see Paul’s big heart.这里我们看到保罗的广大的心怀。Jesus Christ is preached，基督传开了，even though some people attack him，有些人攻击保罗，and the government imprisons him.政府把他关在监狱里。But he’s still joyful，because Jesus Christ is proclaimed.因为耶稣传开了，他欢喜快乐。So from this passage，所以从这一段的经文，I don’t know how the preacher is going to analysis passage，我不知道讲员要怎么分析这段经文的，but I picked up a broad theme from here，但是我选了一个比较广，宽广的主题，I call it a glorious gospel or the glory of the gospel.我称这个主题是福音的荣耀，或者福音是荣耀的。Without Jesus christ， there’s no gospel.没有耶稣基督就没有福音。The Gospel is glorious，because Jesus Christ is glorious.福音是荣耀的，因为主耶稣基督是荣耀的。So I try to expand on this theme，the glory of Christ and the Gospel.所以我就把这个主题把它扩大，把它发挥，基督的荣耀，福音的荣耀。Now we normally sing， “the Lord is in this holy temple” and “Spirit of the living God”， “Fall Afresh On Me”every Sunday as preparation for worship.那我们每次主日都唱《主在圣殿中》和《永生神的灵》、《求再次浇灌我》，这个是我们每个星期天都唱的。
After that comes the call to Worship，好了，唱完这两首预备的短歌之后，就来到宣召了。God in His word or with His word calls us，commands us to worship Him，上帝用祂的话呼召我们，吩咐我们来敬拜祂的。That’s true every Sunday.每个主日都是如此。But as we think about Jesus’s Glory，但是我们想到耶稣是荣耀的，and God and Christ and Holy Spirit calls us to worship Him.圣父、圣子、圣灵来呼召我们敬拜他。Notice I didn’t say worship them.我没有说“他们”啊。I know my doctrine of trinity.我知道三位一体的教义是怎么讲的。God the Father， God the Son ，God the Holy Spirit calls us to worship him.圣父、圣子、圣灵呼召我们来敬拜祂。So I chose Colossians 1：15 to 18.所以我选了歌罗西书一章15-18节。You will probably notice that I have chosen this text before，你可能注意到我在其他的主日也选过这段经文的。Because it is one of the most，one of the clearest and glorious statement of the Glory of Christ，因为这个是讲到基督的荣耀最清楚、最完美的一段的经文。
Jesus is lord，He is creator，He is a king of the universe，耶稣是主，祂是宇宙的创造者，祂是元首，So we sing a hymn of praise to Him.所以我们向祂唱一首赞美的诗歌。Crown Him with many Crowns.《来拥戴主为王》。Now this hymn has five verses，each verse give the different emphasis.这首诗歌有五节，每一节有不同的重点的。Verse 1 tells us Jesus Christ is the lamb of God.第一节告诉我们耶稣是基督是神的羔羊。Verse 2 He is a lord of life，overcame death.第二节祂是生命的君王，胜过了死亡的。Verse 3 He is a lord of love，第三节祂是爱我们的主，because of His suffering and His death.因为祂的受难受苦。Yes，there’re still five wounds on his body，是的，今天祂的身体还是有带着五个伤痕的，but they are beautiful，because they’ve been glorified.这个五个伤痕是荣美的，因为都被荣耀了。Even angels see these wounds as amazing.连天使看到这五个伤痕都诧异。Verse 4 He is a lord of peace，第四节祂是平安的君王。and we pray that all wars will end.所以我们祷告求神终止所有的战争。Verse 5 Jesus Christ is a lord of time，第五节耶稣基督是时间的主宰，He is a lord of the sun，moon and stars.祂是日月星辰的主。So the glory of Christ in five different dimensions.基督的荣耀从五个角度我们来歌唱。
Then there is prayer praise.然后我们祷告赞美神。Every Sunday we read the ten commandments and then we confess our sins，每个主日我们都读十诫，承认我们的罪，that’s because the ten commandments tells us how holy God is.因为十诫告诉我们，神是多么的圣洁。God forgives us，神赦免我们的罪，and for this Sunday I chose Colossians 3：16 to 17，在这个主日我选了歌罗西书三章16-17节，Yes，God has forgiven us when we confess our sins.是的，我们认罪悔改，上帝赦免我们的罪。What do we do next？然后呢？We ask that the word of Jesus Christ，the word of God fills us，我们求耶稣用祂的话来充满我们，and we tell Jesus Christ we will do everything to his Glory.我们告诉主耶稣，我们要做一切的为了祂的荣耀。
Page 16，16页。Now we’ve come to this second hymn for the morning.现在我们来到主日崇拜第二首诗歌。I said that in the past we called this hymn of forgiveness，以前我们称这个叫赦罪的诗歌，I’ve changed that. 我改变了。Actually，a more accurate term is this：the hymn of communion with Christ.假如讲得准确一点，第二首诗歌是与耶稣交通的诗歌。This time I choose living for Jesus（a life that is true），这次我选的是为耶稣而活，to respond to Colossians 3：17 which we would have just read，是回应刚才读的歌罗西书三章17节，a hymn that is that should be very familiar to Christians who love Jesus.对爱主耶稣的基督徒应该是不陌生的一首诗歌。
Now we come to read the sermon text for the morning，好了，我们现在来读讲道的经文，Philippians 1：12 to 18.腓立比书一章12-18节。And before the sermon，we give our response to the sermon ahead of time，还没有听道之前，我们预先地告诉神我们的回应，and our response ahead of time is I love to tell the story just as Paul loves to tell the story.我们预先给神的回应是，我爱传主的福音，正如保罗爱传基督的福音一样。Then we listen to the sermon，page 18.18页，然后我们听道。And then we respond the sermon.然后我们回应这篇的讲道。How do we respond？怎么回应呢？Remember Paul has a big heart for the Gospel，right？记得吗？保罗的心怀是很宽大的，Even though people attack him，虽然人家攻击他批评他，the government imprisons him，政府关他在监狱，He so rejoices，because somehow the gospel was going out.他仍然欢喜快乐，因为福音传出去了。
Why？为什么？Romans 1：5，罗马书一章第五节，because his goal，Paul’s goal has been realized，因为保罗生命的目标达到了，the faith and obedience of the gentiles，就是外邦人的信服基督，the church is being built in Rome and many other places.在罗马在很多不同的地区，基督的教会建立起来了。So we sing the Church’s one foundation.所以我们唱《教会为唯一的根基》。It is a more concrete and more corporate way of saying I love the gospel.这个是更加具体地、更加全面地讲我爱传主福音。It’s not just a personal gospel so the individual souls can go to heaven，不仅仅是传了个人的福音，一个一个灵魂可以上天堂，not just that，不够，it’s that the church is built up，the church of Jesus Christ around the world.乃是我们欢喜快乐，因为基督的教会在世界各地被建立起来了。
Page 19，第19页。Now we come to the time of offering.我们来到奉献的这段时刻。I Chose the hymn“O Zion， Haste”，我选了《信徒奋兴》这首诗歌。Yes，this hymn is about mission，是的，这首诗歌是讲传福音宣教使命的，but it also says in verse 4，let me see，Yes，verse 4，actually in verse 4 the original one says give of your sons，第四节原文是说奉献你们的儿女，and give of your wealth，奉献你的金钱，pray.祷告。So we respond to the glorious Gospel，我们怎么样回应荣耀的福音，we dedicate our children to the Gospel work，我奉献我们的儿女做福音的工作，we give of our money and prayers.我们奉献金钱，献上我们的祷告。And then we receive the benediction and we say Hallelujah，Amen!最后我们领受祝福，说：哈利路亚，阿们！
Please turn the page 21，now comes the explanation in writing.到了二十页我写出这一堂崇拜的意义的。The first paragraph tells us that Paul loves this glorious Gospel，第一段告诉我们保罗心爱这个荣耀的福音。then I says，is this how you look at the Gospel？你是这样看福音的吗？The Gospel is glorious because Jesus Christ is glorious.耶稣基督是荣耀的，所以福音是荣耀的。So we sing “Crown Him with many crowns”.所以我们唱颂赞诗歌《来拥戴基督为王》。
Next paragraph，下一段，our Savior Jesus Christ is this glorious lord therefore the Gospel is this glorious.我们的主是那么的荣耀，所以我们的福音也是那么的荣耀。Paul says I’m not ashamed of the Gospel.保罗说：我不以福音为耻的。But we turn and look at ourselves we see sin and so we confess our sins.但是我们转过来看自己的时候我们看到的是罪，所以我们来认罪。God forgives us，上帝赦免我们的罪的。Page 22，第二十二页，So when we respond to God’s promise of forgiveness，当我们回应神赦罪的应许的时候，We read Colossians 3：16 and 17 and we sing living for Jesus（a life that is true）.我们听歌罗西书三章十六、十七节，我们唱《为主而活》。So we listen to the sermon ，我们听道，after that we’ve seen Paul’s grand vision，we sing that church’s one foundation is Jesus Christ，her Lord.我们看到保罗远大的异象，我们唱《教会唯一的根基是耶稣基督》。And since our vision is this grand，既然我们的异象是那么的伟大，We give everything we have，我们把一切都献上，that’s our offering hymn.那个是我们奉献的诗歌。And with this sense of mission of purpose，we leave the church and go into the world to shine for Jesus.带着这种的使命感，我们离开教会进入到每一天的生活为主而活。
So this particular service has to do with a gospel and Jesus Christ.所以这一堂的崇拜是讲福音跟耶稣基督。Not every Sunday has this emphasis.不是每一个主日都是有这个重点的。In this particular case because of the passage in Philippians one，I try to complement and enrich and expand on those verses Philippines 1：12-14，因为讲题是腓立比书一章12到18节，所以尽可能发挥里面的或者背后的那个真理，the glory of the Gospel，福音的荣耀。
After the break we’re gonna move into another Sunday worship in this case a communion Sunday，我们休息之后呢，我们来看另外一堂的崇拜的程序，这个是一堂的圣餐主日，and let me just tell you the theme of this worship service page 23.我告诉大家，这一堂崇拜的主题是什么？Obeying our holy God together.比较长，齐心顺服圣洁的神。Because the sermon has to do with discipline，因为这堂崇拜的讲道很严肃地是讲教会的惩戒、纪律的。Why do we have discipline？为什么有纪律？Because God is holy，因为神是圣洁的，therefore the Church should be holy.所以教会应该圣洁。And because God is God，神是神，we need to obey God.我们应该顺服神。So I Choice obedience，holiness and together，these words together，所以我把同心、顺服、圣洁把它放在一起，obeying our holy God together.我们一起来作为整个的教会，来顺服这一位圣洁的神。So that’s the theme，that was the theme.那个是我们上星期的主题。I’ll pause here and ask a sister to come in announce or ask a brother to come in give an announcement.
